BurlyCon Burlesque Education & Social Convention has announced Ronnie Magri as one of this years Guest Of Honors, for his work as a a Neo-Burlesque Pioneer & Music Historian. 

Along with being this years BurlyCon - Guest Of Honor, Ronnie will also be hosting a series of workshops over the course of the convention titled “Risqué Rhythms – Working With Music in Burlesque”. He’ll be sharing pointers & advice for dancing and working with live music, as well as working with pre-recorded music for shows and acts. Discussions including: “owning” your act with original music, choosing the right music, for your performance, how song keys and tempos can affect your act, working with different genres of music (jazz, latin, rhythm & blues, rock…) and more. Plus, tips and lessons passed on to him from the striptease queens, comedians, and musicians from the Golden Age of Burlesque.
